The
Ohio Lawmen welcome you to our website. Thank you for
coming! We are 501 (C) (3) organization that competes in
safety
force softball tournaments throughout the country. Our members
include law enforcement officers and firemen from the State of
Ohio. We compete against other safety force teams in
various tournaments that foster brotherhood, sportsmanship,
and a special bond between other safety forces.
Many
of the memorial tournaments we participate in, benefit
the families of fallen safety officers and safety officers
that
have been injured. Over the years, we have made donations
to other worthy causes as well, to include the NY Widows
and Orphans Fund, The Greater Cleveland Police Scholarship
Fund, to the families of terminally ill children, and to New
Orleans officers that were victimized by hurricane Katrina.
In
past seasons, we have made a commitment to Ohio C.O.P.S. (concerns
of police survivors). Ohio C.O.P.S provides direct
support to the families of our fallen Ohio officers. Every
tournament entered, win or lose, the Ohio Lawmen donates
$300 and any winnings from the safety force tournament to their
organization.
A
combination of our on the field prowess and our off the field
compassion have led our organization to be respected and
revered throughout the law enforcement community and beyond.
We take great pride in representing the State of Ohio. We have
already laid claim and are the best safety force team in Ohio!
This could not be possible without the dedication of our
teammates, and the strong support from businesses in our
communities.
The
Ohio Lawmen will continue to grow and move in a
positive direction. We will always make Ohio proud and
hopefully brighten the day for those that have lost someone
special. Once again, thank you for taking the time to learn
about our organization. If you would like to help support are
endeavors, please contact us. Enjoy browsing our web page!
Very
Truly Yours,
Brad
